Fast availability and response time

The system is mobile and can be deployed quickly to respond to sources of fire. A practical example: In a recycling company in Stuttgart, a smouldering fire in a scrap metal warehouse was extinguished within a few minutes using the mobile IBC high-pressure extinguishing system and a major fire was prevented.

Shredders and conveyor belts:
Mechanical friction can cause sparks, which can easily start a fire.

Storage of lithium-ion batteries:
These pose a particularly high fire hazard as they can self-ignite. E.g.: Household appliances such as lawnmowers, washing machines and e-cigarettes as well as on circuit boards.

Bales of cloth and waste paper storage:
These materials can ignite quickly at high temperatures or through embers.

Waste compactor:
Compression can generate sparks that are difficult to detect and extinguish.

The IBC firefighting system is not only used for firefighting, but is also a fully-fledged high-pressure cleaner with an output of 230 bar.

The scope of delivery includes:

Flat jet lance and dirt cutter: Ideal for thorough cleaning work.

Additional applications: Sewer cleaning, water and sludge vacuuming, graffiti removal and even water sandblasting jobs can be completed effortlessly.

Water tank

1,000 liter capacity with high-pressure pump and foam mixing system

Safe transportation

Base frame with forklift entry lugs and crane lifting eyes for safe movement on the company premises.

Powerful

1,000 liters of water enable operation for up to 1.25 hours at full power.

Range

The high-pressure system can reach a throw range of up to 9 metres, so that the fire can be fought from a safe distance, minimizing the risk of flames and smoke for the operating personnel.

Expandable hose line for flexible areas of application

The IBC firefighting system can be equipped with a hose line of 20 to 100 meters and can be extended up to 300m with a hose reel.

Fire department foam proportioning

The multigrade foam concentrate is particularly effective on fires in recycling plants, where the variety of materials ranges from wood and paper to more complex hazards such as vehicles and lithium-ion batteries. In the event of a fire in a container with batteries, for example, the foam ensures rapid wetting, penetrating deep into the surface and fighting a smoldering ember before it can spread. The foam concentrate we use has been tested by the Gelsenkirchen Hygiene Institute. Example: Forest floor Wetting water quantity per m² forest floor 100Ltr.
